For a long-term rental, the initial placement location must work beyond the first day. Construction materials, fencing, vehicles, excavation, landscaping, and changing crew areas can gradually block a unit or the route needed to service it. Select a firm, reasonably level area that is away from active hazards and likely to remain accessible. Identify a site contact who can keep the approach clear and communicate changes before they affect delivery or servicing. If the unit must be moved during a project, that should be discussed once the new placement area and access route are known. Daily user count matters because use accumulates over time. Explain the normal crew size, shift schedule, projected high-activity phases, and whether visitors, subcontractors, or customers will also use the unit. Permanent restroom access, if any, should be described accurately. Handwashing equipment can be considered where users handle materials or need a dedicated hygiene point. Accessible restroom needs should likewise be raised at the planning stage rather than later.

Long-term rental quotes benefit from specific project information: address, anticipated start and end dates, average and peak users, type of work, location of the unit, and site access notes. Include gate schedules, property rules, delivery restrictions, and a contact who is available during normal site activity. If the job has separate phases, estimate when the site layout may change. That helps prevent a sanitation plan that becomes impractical as the work advances. Weather is another consideration for extended placement. A firm surface may perform differently through rainy periods, and pathways should remain clear and usable. Avoid locating the unit in a low spot, a drainage path, or an area planned for later excavation or paving.
